Postponement of Safeguarding 2 / Children’s Officer Course
Unfortunately, due to circumstances outside our control, the Safeguarding 2 /Children’s Officer course scheduled for Wednesday 9th May in Kingspan Breffni will not take place.
It is hoped to reschedule this course to a date towards the end of the year .

Please note that the GAA requires members, where applicable, to partake in GAA specific Safeguarding courses. Such courses are run by tutors who are trained by the GAA .
In Cavan , Andy McGovern and Barbara Fortune are the two GAA qualified tutors for the Safeguarding 1/Basic Child Protection course and a reminder that Safeguarding 1/ Basic Child Protection course must be renewed every three years by anyone working with underage in the GAA.
There is no requirement to renew Safeguarding 2 – completion of it just the once is all that is required.
