Ratification of Senior Football & Hurling Managers and management teams
Cavan County Board are pleased to confirm the ratification of their Senior Football and Hurling Team Managers and management teams for 2023.
Mickey Graham and his management team have been ratified for a further two years at tonight’s county committee meeting.
Mayo native James Burke will join the management as coach having worked with the Mayo seniors in recent years. He joins Ryan McMenamin, Sean Johnston and John Denning, Martin Corey has stepped away for 2023. We thank Martin for his outstanding contribution to our footballers for the last four years.
The meeting also ratified Ollie Bellew as senior hurling team manager. The Antrim native returns to Cavan having previously managed the team in 2020 & 2021. Tómas Mannion (Galway) will also return to the hurling management having been part of Ollie’s backroom team during his previous tenure.
We thank Neil Cole, his management and backroom team for their dedication, hard work and commitment with our hurlers in 2022.
We wish both managements every success in the coming year.
