Ollie Bellew announced as Senior Hurling Manager
Cavan County Board are pleased to confirm the appointment of Ollie Bellew as the Cavan Senior Hurling Team Manager for 2020.
The Antrim native previously managed his own club St Galls to their first ever Senior Hurling Championship final in 2014. He also managed Antrim minors and U21s to Ulster Championship and Leinster leagues successes. He has won a number of Ulster titles with Antrim seniors as a selector and coach. Ollie also managed Ulster University and St Marys University Belfast with success and is the current Queens University manager.
We take this opportunity to wish Ollie, his management team (which will be finalised in due course) and panel of players every success in 2020, the first game in the Allianz Hurling League takes place on Saturday 25th January v Lancashire at 2.00pm in Abbotstown.
