Convention 2019
Cavan GAA Annual Convention took place last night in Hotel Kilmore, Cavan.
Secretary’s, Treasurer’s and other outgoing officer reports and review of 2019 were presented.
Tom Boylan (Ballyhaise) has been elected President for 2020. Tom Lynch, Gabriel Kelly and Peter Galligan have been elected and added as Vice-Presidents for 2020.
Kieran Callaghan (Denn) is elected as Chairman for the coming year after defeating Paddy Sheanon.
Susan Brady (Ballyhaise) was elected as PRO defeating Sean Smith while outgoing chairman Gerry Brady (Gowna) and Kevin Reilly (Killygarry) were elected as Ulster Council Delegates.
Outgoing PRO Mark O’Rourke (Ballyhaise) was elected as Vice-Chairperson, outgoing Ulster Delegate Tom O’Reilly (Shannon Gaels) is elected as Central Council Delegate while Kevin Sheils (Kingscourt) was elected as Coaching Officer. All three positions were uncontested.
All other officers are returned for 2020.
