Championship Update

As per the Master Fixture Plan, games were scheduled for Weekend August 31st – Sept 2nd, with 17 games in total to be played.
After a number of meetings to discuss same, looking at all available options, given the number of games and taking into account the All Ireland Final on Sunday, Sept 2nd as well as the fact we are playing all games outside of Kingspan Breffni this year, it’s simply not possible as it stands.
The attached outlines changes to the Hotel Kilmore Intermediate Championship in particular, to lessen the number of fixtures on the above weekend, allowing still for a second break weekend but now on August 31st – Sept 2nd.
The updated schedule also lines out dates for Relegation in the Hotel Kilmore Senior and Intermediate Championship as well as the Cully’s Craft Bakery Junior Championship Shield.
Finally, the CCC can confirm that all Rd 4 games in each of the 3 Championships will take place at the same time, on the same date, as follows:
Cully’s Craft Bakery Junior Championship
Rd 4 – Saturday, August 25th at 6.30pm
Hotel Kilmore Intermediate Championship
Rd 4 – Saturday, Sept 8th at 6.30pm
Hotel Kimore Senior Championship
Rd 4 – Sunday, Sept 9th at 3pm
We thank sincerely all Clubs for their continued cooperation with Fixtures and all those to date that have assisted in the running of our Championship Competitions by hosting our games.
This year has presented new challenges to the CCC and the County Board and takes everyone working together to continue to make our Club Championships enjoyable for all.
