Workshops

Last Monday started off 2017 from a Coach Education point of view with a “Coaching the Goalkeepers” workshop in Kingspan Breffni Park. Thanks to all who attended and to Paul O’Callaghan of the Ulster Council who delivered the workshop. The “Kicking for Scores” workshop will be held at the end of the month – more information in the next week.

Coaching Courses

This year’s programme of Coaching Courses begins this weekend with a Foundation course in Boyle Park, Drumgoon. Friday night will be indoor in the club’s new hall from 7pm to 10pm and covers the Child Protection and Best Practice element of the course – which is compulsory and carries a €5 charge payable on the night.
Saturday will focus on the coaching side of the course and will take place both inside and outside and has a 9.30am start.

The Award 1 Coaching course will be held over two days on Saturday 21st and Saturday 28th January in Kingspan Breffni Park (please note the change of venue from Ramor to Kingspan Breffni Park) and will start at 9.30am. Coaches wishing to complete this course must attend both days and have the Foundation course already completed. Again places are limited so book your place as soon as possible on 087-2875939

There is another Foundation course scheduled next month on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th February.
